# Leakling — Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

*Version 0.2.0 · Last updated 2026-08-06*

## 1. Overview

Leakling ("the app", "we") is an AI-powered improvement tool for Valorant. It is provided as a **demonstration prototype** while development continues. By downloading, installing, or using Leakling you agree to these Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy.

> **Prototype notice:** The AI flaw-classification model is a prototype and is not yet fully trained or production-ready. The death-detection pipeline works today; flaw-classification quality improves as development continues.

## 2. Privacy Policy

### 2.1 What we collect

- **Nothing is sent to us.** Leakling has no servers, no accounts, and no cloud backend.
- **No telemetry.** The app does not phone home, report usage, or track you.

### 2.2 What happens on your device

- **Screen capture** is used **only to analyze the kill feed** and detect deaths. It runs locally, is **opt-in**, and can be disabled at any time.
- **No recording.** Captured frames are analyzed and discarded immediately; nothing is saved as video or screenshots.
- **Local data only.** Your death-cause tags, settings, and match summaries are stored **locally on your device** (e.g., browser/Electron local storage). They never leave your machine.
- **No game access.** Leakling never reads or modifies the Valorant game process or memory. It only reads the screen at the operating-system level (the same way streaming/recording software does). Your Riot account is never accessed.

### 2.3 Third-party services

- The app may load a language-data file for on-device OCR (tesseract) from a CDN on first use. This is a static file download for local processing; no data is sent to us or to that CDN by the app beyond the normal file request.

### 2.4 Data deletion

Because all data is local, you can delete it at any time via the app's "Reset all data" option, or by uninstalling the app. Deleting the app removes its local data.

## 3. Terms of Service

### 3.1 Use of the app

- Leakling is for **personal, non-commercial, educational/improvement use** in a demonstration context.
- You agree to use Leakling **only on your own gameplay**. Do not use it on others' content without permission, or in any way that violates Riot Games' or Valorant's terms of service.
- You agree **not** to use Leakling to cheat, automate, or gain an unfair advantage in any game. Leakling is an improvement tool, not a cheat.

### 3.2 No warranty

- Leakling is provided **"as is"** and **"as available"**, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- It is a **prototype**. Detection and flaw-classification results may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on it for any critical or in-game decisions.

### 3.3 Limitation of liability

- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are **not liable** for any damages arising from your use of the app, including inaccuracies in detection, data loss, or any impact on your systems or game accounts. You use Leakling at your own risk.

### 3.4 Intellectual property

- The Leakling name, logo, and app are our property.
- **Leakling is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games** or Overwolf. Valorant and related marks are property of Riot Games.

### 3.5 Changes & termination

- We may update these terms or the app at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
- We may disable or restrict the app at any time for any reason.
- **Features subject to change:** Features and additions described on the website or in the app are subject to change at any time before the app's official release. Nothing shown in the demo is a commitment to a final feature set or release date.

### 3.6 Bans & account issues

- Leakling is designed not to interfere with the game or your account (it only reads the screen and never touches the game process). However, if you experience any ban, penalty, or other issue while using the demo, please contact us via the email in the **Contact** section of the website first.
- While we will do our best to help, we **cannot guarantee a resolution**, and we are **not responsible** for any bans, penalties, account actions, or other mishaps that result from using the demo. You use the app at your own risk — it is a **demonstration prototype** (see the prototype notice in Section 1).

### 3.7 Contact
